Born and raised in Miami’s vibrant Little Havana, I’m a first-generation Cuban American deeply rooted in the local community. Growing up surrounded by Cuban immigrants, I witnessed firsthand the challenges of mental illness and addiction within my own family. These experiences inspired me to pursue a deeper understanding of the human mind and behavior, ultimately guiding me to become a licensed mental health therapist.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my Master’s in Counselor Education with a focus on Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University (FIU). My education and personal experiences have shaped my passion for supporting others through life's challenges, particularly helping college students and young adults who are navigating uncertainty and seeking direction.

In my practice, I utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including:

As a bilingual therapist fluent in both English and Spanish, I strive to create a safe, supportive space for individuals from diverse backgrounds, where they feel heard and understood.
